D-Day - 75 Stories: Frank Baugh
Landing Craft made repeated journeys to the beaches of Normandy to land men and equipment and to rescue the injured throughout D-Day and for several weeks afterwards.
Frank Baugh was a signalman on one of these vessels and had a narrow escape, just seconds before hitting the sand on 6th June 1944.
Here’s his D-Day 75 story.
